Strike Offense Removed and New Drug Charges Dismissed

When his client was recently charged with possession of heroin, attorney Silver knew the outlook was bleak since this offense was being considered a felony because of a prior strike. With a maximum of eight years in prison hanging over his client’s head, attorney Silver filed a Romero motion to have his previous strike offense removed. This proved successful. Attorney Silver went above and beyond to obtain a dismissal for his client’s recent drug charge based on completing an outpatient treatment program. In the end, a serious blemish was removed and no new charges would be added.

The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
